Stroke Support Network

The Stroke Support Network at Fawcett Memorial Hospital provides support for the stroke survivor and family members and/or caregivers in their efforts to adjust to the impact the stroke has on their home, family and social life.

Two unique forums have been created to meet the needs of the stroke survivor, family and/or caregiver:

1. Inpatient Stroke Rehab Continuum assists those individuals who are still in the hospital recovering, and in the process of adjusting and accepting the immediate effects of their disability.

2. Caregiver Education Support provides psychological support and education to the immediate family and caregivers of the stroke survivor.
