Inpatient Rehabilitations Admissions Criteria
A Rehabilitation Specialist will perform assessment prior to admission either personally, by medical chart review, or both. Patient must be/have:
- Medically stable
- Willing and able to actively participate
- Responsive to verbal or visual stimuli
- A pre-morbid condition that indicates a potential for rehabilitation
- Reasonable expectation for improvement
The patient will need 2 or more therapies for a minimum of 3 hours of therapy per day.
Workman’s Compensation Evaluations
Injured Workers are evaluated by our Interdisciplinary Team. The results are discussed regarding the patient’s functional ability and continued length of stay is established by both the Interdisciplinary Team and the Nurse Case Manager who represents the patient.
